About

Built by someone who's done the job.

Aperio Finance is a financial intelligence company. We build the tools we wish existed when we were doing the work.

Isaac Olorode is the founder of Aperio Finance. He spent years in financial planning and analysis before building the tools he wished existed.

Aperio is his thesis that AI changes the foundational assumptions of finance software.

The story

Why we exist.

The first time I realized finance software was broken, I was rebuilding the same variance analysis I'd built three months earlier. Nothing had changed except the numbers. The work was identical. The tools were identical.

And I thought: someone should fix this.

That was the beginning of Aperio.

The first build was a single notebook that read a P&L and produced a variance memo. It worked on the third try. It saved me four hours that week. It told me the answer was AI doing the work — not assisting it, not summarizing it, doing it.

From that notebook, the rest followed. If AI can write the variance memo, it can write the board brief. It can model the scenario. It can flag the anomaly. It can answer the question in plain English. The tools that exist today don't do these things — not because they can't, but because they were built before this was possible.

Aperio is the version of finance software that gets built when you start over with what AI can do today, not what was possible in 2010.

Nine products. One company. No compromises. Welcome.

The standard

We don't ship mediocre tools.

Four principles. Every product passes through them. No exceptions.

01

Finance deserves better than Excel.

The industry has accepted that financial work is manual, repetitive, and slow. We haven't.

02

AI should do the work, not just assist it.

There's a difference between AI that helps you write a memo and AI that writes the memo. We build the latter.

03

Every product earns its place.

We don't ship features. We ship products. If it doesn't solve a real problem completely, it doesn't ship.

04

The standard is always maximum.

Not 'good enough for launch.' Maximum. Every time. This is non-negotiable.
